1. Stand Upright

This photo is the light of Stadion Harapan Bangsa located in Lhong Raya, Banda Aceh. There are three parts stand out in this photo, the sky, the light, and clouds. In other words, the rule of third is used in the composition of this photo.

2. The Ship that Neglected

I took this photo on February 20, 2014. This ship looks alone, not maintained, and look like never used again. Lots of coral and algae attached to the ship, so it make the ship look worn. These conditions make it interesting for me to take this spot as an photography object, the position at the top of the water precisely at the edge of the beach, make a shadow formed. Therefore, the reflection technique stand out in this photo.

3. Memory from Dutch

The composition that used in this photo is 2-dimensional technique with symmetries method. This photo shows the symmetrical balance between the left and right side of the photo.

The object of this photo is Kerkhoff Peutjoet Gate. Kerkoff Peutjoet is cemetery area for Dutch soldiers were killed on the war in Aceh.

Kerkoff derived from the Dutch word which means grave, while Peutjoet derived from the word Pocut (favorite son). At the cemetery, there is the tomb of Sultan Iskandar Muda child, he was buried here because get punished by the Sultan for making a fatal mistake at that time.
